India Post GDS Merit List 2024 Released Anytime – Check How to Download
India Post is expected to release the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Merit List 2024 soon. Candidates who applied for the GDS recruitment can check the first merit list on the official website, indiapostgdsonline.gov.in, once it is published. A direct link to the merit list will be provided here as soon as it becomes available.
The merit list will be based on the marks obtained or the conversion of Grades/Points to marks in the Secondary School Examination (10th standard) from recognized boards, calculated to four decimal places.
Next Steps for Shortlisted Candidates
- Physical Verification: Candidates listed in the merit list will be required to undergo physical verification. The dates for this process will be communicated via SMS to the candidates’ registered mobile numbers.
- Undertaking Submission: Shortlisted candidates must submit an undertaking as per the format provided in Annexure-IX. This document will confirm their responsibility if any false or incorrect information was provided during the application process.
The merit list will include the names of candidates who meet the qualifications and eligibility criteria, determining their selection for various posts under the India Post GDS recruitment.
In addition to the first merit list, India Post is expected to release cutoff marks and other relevant details. The merit list is compiled based on the marks obtained in the Secondary School Examination (10th standard), with grades or points converted to marks and aggregated to a percentage accurate to four decimal places.

3. A PDF file will open, where you can search for your name or roll number.
4. Download the file and print a copy for future reference.
India Post aims to fill 44,228 Gramin Dak Sevak positions across 23 postal circles nationwide. The registration process was conducted from July 15 to August 5, 2024, and a correction window was open from August 6 to August 8, 2024.
