JKBOSE 12th Topper List 2026: 29 Students Secure Top Ranks Across All Streams
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has declared the Class 12 results for 2026, and this year 29 students have jointly secured the top three positions across all academic streams. These high achievers come from both government and private higher secondary schools.

In the Science stream, 7 out of the 13 top-ranking students are from government schools. In Commerce, 3 of the 6 students in the top positions attended government schools. Likewise, in Arts, 4 of the 7 highest rankers are from government schools, with the first position in Arts claimed by a student from Government Higher Secondary School, Mattan.



In the Home Science stream, government school students swept all the top three ranks — two of them from Government Higher Secondary School, Kothi Bagh, and one from Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Ranibagh, Anantnag.
Girls outperformed boys in this year’s exams, contributing strongly to the list of top achievers. The overall pass percentage is 84.02%, with boys scoring an 82% pass rate and girls achieving 86%.
A total of 70,735 students from Kashmir and the winter zones of Jammu sat for the exams, of whom 59,435 passed successfully.
